What Nidam al-Tayyibat says
Counterintuitively, the system rejects brown rice and only allows polished white rice: it considers the grain's outer layer irritating and laden with residues. This is one of its positions most at odds with usual recommendations.
What conventional nutrition says
Brown rice is richer in fiber, magnesium and B vitamins than white rice; it is generally preferred in nutrition guidelines.
