Understanding the classification

How does Nidam al-Tayyibat classify foods?
The system divides foods into five frequency zones: green (daily staple), yellow (daily, with caution), orange (every other day to weekly), purple (very rarely) and red (never). On this website, green and yellow appear as “allowed,” orange and purple as “limited,” and red as “forbidden.”
Is a food that is not on the list allowed?
No. The system works as a whitelist: any food that is not explicitly allowed is considered forbidden by default, including as a hidden ingredient in a prepared product.
What does “limited” mean?
The food is accepted under a condition: a maximum frequency (for example once a week, a portion shared among several meats), a required preparation (cooked only, as juice only) or a small quantity.
Is this classification scientifically validated?
No. It reflects the teaching of Dr Diaa Al-Awadi, which is disputed by medical institutions. Each entry also states, in one or two sentences, what conventional nutrition says, so you can compare.

This is not medical advice

This database documents the classification of foods as taught by Nidam al-Tayyibat. It does not reflect official nutritional guidelines and does not replace the advice of a doctor or a dietitian. Never change or stop a treatment based on this website.
